The Marley Modern roof tile is a hugely popular, flat, single-lap interlocking tile, ideal for new builds, extensions and home renovations.
This large format tile features a traditional flat profile design with a sleek, slate like appearance. A major benefit of the Marley Modern is that it can be used on roof pitches as low as 17.5°.
At a 75mm headlap, 2.9 linear metres per m² (Net, Roof) are required and 3.1 linear metres per m² are required at a 100mm headlap. It is also advised that you employ batten sizes of 38mm x 25mm for rafters and/or supports that do not exceed 450mm centres and 50mm x 25mm for rafters and/or supports that do not exceed 600mm centres (both fixed to BS 5534).
