OSB3 (Oriented Strand Board grade 3) is an engineered wood panel made of compressed wood strands glued together with moisture resistant resins. Defined by the BS EN 300 standard, it is a load-bearing board engineered to perform well in humid conditions.
all OSB3 panel products have been manufactured using zero added formaldehyde.
Because it combines high structural strength with resistance to dampness, OSB3 is widely used for the following applications:
- Roof decking and sarking
- Wall sheathing in timber-frame construction
- Flooring applications
- Site hoarding and temporary structures
